For the first time, Gaming1 opened the doors of its Hub, inaugurated in 2020 and located in the heart of Liège, to welcome families and staff members for a magical day in an atmosphere inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
On Sunday, 30 June, we had the great pleasure of organizing an exceptional event in Liège: the Family Day. This magical day was above all about discovery and solidarity. The families present were able to discover the missions and commitments of the nonprofit organizations La Lumière, Surdimobile, Honey Honey, Entrevues, Live in Colors, Défil'éco, Assistance à l'Enfance, Impro'Jeux and Cap Event through entertainment and activities to raise awareness. Thanks to their commitment and dedication, our guests enjoyed enriching and fun moments.
As a highlight of this great day, we organized a contest allowing one of the families to win a stay at Disney. The winner had the opportunity to become a sponsor of the organization of their choice among those present. Today we are pleased to announce that the winner has chosen to support Honey Honey, an organization dedicated to bee protection and environmental awareness.
While this Family Day was of course about having fun, it was also and above all a celebration of the family values and deep commitment to the community that drive Ardent Group, of which Gaming1 is a part. As a group, we firmly believe in the importance of supporting the social fabric of the province of Liège. This aspect of the Family Day echoes another initiative organized by Ardent Group: the Ardent Awards, an event that has supported the Liège nonprofit sector for 7 years now, by rewarding the best projects of nonprofit organizations in the region.
By highlighting these organizations, we aim to strengthen our staff members’ understanding of our societal commitment and inspire them to become more involved in initiatives that shape a better future for all.
